Abstract

In June 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Kotamobagu City will be 4.49 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.45.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 12.16 percent; housing, air housing, electricity and household fuel group at 0.99 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.07 percent; health group at 0.76 percent; transportation group by 1.89 percent; education group by 1.05 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.59 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.73 percent. Meanwhile, three other groups experienced deflation, namely the clothing and footwear group at 0.03 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.03 percent; and the recreation, sports and culture group at 0.34 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Kotamobagu City in June 2024 is 0.84 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Kotamobagu City in June 2024 is 1.35 percent.
