Abstract

In October 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kotamobagu City of 3.18 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.06.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 9.95 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.56 percent; household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance group by 0.58 percent; health group by 2.59 percent; transportation group by 1.84 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.87 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.88 percent; and personal care and other services group by 6.63 percent. Meanwhile, three other groups experienced deflation, namely the clothing and footwear group by 1.04 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.47 percent; and the education group by 16.37 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate of Kotamobagu City in October 2024 was 0.03 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Kotamobagu City in October 2024 was 0.99 percent.
