Kotamobagu City Inflation in April 2024

Abstract

In April 2024, Kotamobagu City saw year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 4.39 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.96.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 11.97 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.74 percent; health group at 0.96 percent; transportation group by 1.87 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.16 percent; education group by 1.05 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.21 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.47 percent. Meanwhile, three other groups experienced deflation, namely the clothing and footwear group at 0.03 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.20 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.30 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Kotamobagu City in April 2024 is 0.42 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Kotamobagu City in April 2024 is 0.90 percent.
