The Resukt of Long Form Population Census 2020 in Kotamobagu Municipality

The 2020 Population Census (SP2020) is Indonesia effort towards one population data. The implementation of SP2020 switched to using the combination method by utilizing population administration data from the Ministry of Home Affairs as the basic data in implementing SP2020.

The series of SP2020 activities were carried out in two stages. The first stage is population data collection using the short form and other instruments that have been implemented in 2020. The next stage is in the form of a sample census as a continuation of the population census using a questionnaire containing more and more complex questions or known as the SP2020 Long Form Data Collection. Initially, the SP2020 Long Form Data Collection was to be carried out in 2021, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the SP2020 Long Form Data Collection was shifted to 2022.

Long Form SP2020 data collection was conducted to obtain accurate demographic parameters where the data collection was carried out by collecting more complete data not only related to demographic parameters, but also related to education, disability, employment and housing.

The Long Form SP2020 data collection was carried out in all regions in Indonesia with a total sample in Kotamobagu City of 3,870 households in 242 census blocks (BS). The Long Form SP2020 data collection was carried out only for a selected sample of households and the implementation was divided into two stages. The first stage is updating and the second stage is enumeration. The update was carried out in the period 15-31 May 2022 for all households living in selected census blocks spread across 514 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia. After updating, a sample of 16 households was taken. Only 16 households were selected as samples in each of the census blocks, which were then collected using questionnaires for the period 1-30 June 2022.
