Kotamobagu City Inflation in January 2025

Abstract

In January 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kotamobagu City of 0.47 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.70

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.80 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.29 percent; the health group by 2.15 percent; the transportation group by 2.94 percent; the information, communication and financial services group by 0.10 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 1.08 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.78 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 6.36 percent. Meanwhile, three other groups experienced deflation, namely the clothing and footwear group by 0.91 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 8.48 percent; and education group by 16.20 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate of Kotamobagu City in January 2025 was 0.93 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate of Kotamobagu City in December 2024 was 0.93 percent.
