Abstract

In September 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kotamobagu City of 4.06 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.03.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in seven expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 13.46 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.44 percent; health group by 2.59 percent; transportation group by 1.61 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.87 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.02 percent; and personal care and other services group by 6.50 percent. Meanwhile, four other groups experienced deflation, namely the clothing and footwear group by 1.01 percent; household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance group by 0.05 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.46 percent; and the education group by 16.54 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate of Kotamobagu City in September 2024 was 0.35 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Kotamobagu City in September 2024 was 0.96 percent.
