Abstract

In July 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Kotamobagu City of 3.85 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.98.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 9.53 percent; housing, air housing, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.96 percent; household equipment, equipment, and routine maintenance group by 0.12 percent; health group by 4.16 percent; transportation group by 2.06 percent; education group by 0.97 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.63 percent; and personal care and other services group by 5.14 percent. Meanwhile, three other groups experienced deflation, namely clothing and footwear group by 0.63 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.02 percent; and recreation, sports, and culture groups by 0.43 percent.

The Month to Month (m-to-m) deflation rate of Kotamobagu City in July 2024 was 0.43 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Kotamobagu City in July 2024 was 0.92 percent.
