Briefing the National Labour Force Survey (NLFS) 2016

In preparation for the implementation of the 2016 National Labor Force Survey (NLFS), BPS Statistics of Kotamobagu City implement refresher briefing in the framework of existing concepts and definitions and explanations of new variables contained in the questionnaire in 2016 NLFS. NLFSimplementation carried out every year and generate employment data. Employment data collection activities were first carried out in 1976. From 2005 to 2010 NLFSconducted biannually.

With the growing urgency of the demands of employment data both variety, continuity, currency and increasing the accuracy of data generated NLFS data collection began in 2011 was repeated on a quarterly basis. Quarterly implementation until 2014. In 2014 carried out only up to the third quarter.

In 2015 enumeration period NLFS held back by way of semi-annually. At the end of the month in January 2016 before the officer enumeration conducting the interview conducted updating Census Block Samples. NLFS enumeration conducted in February 2016.
